More About Me

My training in the Conservation of Books and Library Materials programme at West Dean College allowed me to pursue my lifelong interest in books. This developed from a love for stories to a fascination with books as material objects and transmitters of information through time. Working with my hands has always been important to me, and I am privileged to be able to do this professionally, combined with the intellectual challenges of working with complex materials. My interest in history comes with a general appreciation for anything old, and I very much enjoy exploring the ethical issues that are involved in conservation.
